Slip Sheet Recapture Program

ITW Plastic Packaging has been making a Positive Contribution to the Environment. ITW’s unique recapture program arranges for the return and buy back of HDPE/PP plastic packaging sheets for recycling, decreasing your operating and waste disposal costs, increasing your bottom line.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
ITW will purchase used slip sheets containing no contaminates to be recycled and reused in the manufacture of slip sheets.

ITW’s purchase price will be based upon an internal index established within ITW Plastic Packaging’s business unit.

ITW will issue a Purchase Order for each individual shipment at the above described purchase amount, arrange transportation and pay freight from customer location to an ITW Plastic Packaging facility.

To maximize the efficiency and reduce the costs of the Recycling Program, we ask that you follow the recommended pallet packaging procedures below.

Packaging Requirements:

• Slip sheets to be uniformly stacked on pallet.
• Remove all paper or cardboard dunnage that may be between slipsheets.
• Pallet should be banded or shrink wrapped.
• Skids to be 48” in height. (Approx. 2,000lbs. ea.)
• Accumulation of at least 7 skids before requesting pick-up.

ITW will maintain a credit history of returned sheets and apply these credits against future orders, or reimburse by check to further reduce your costs when purchasing plastic slip sheets.
